RM Auctions is a world-renowned auction business located in Chatham. They offer some of the world’s finest motor cars and run auctions around the world. They came to Logix with an idea for an app that would allow their clientele to bid from their iPad or iPhone. Expanding on that, the app also offers the ability to browse RM’s catalog list, sign up for their newsletter, and find contact information.
Logix worked with Beakbane in Toronto to create a custom Facebook contest campaign for Duty Free Canada. We programmed a contest database that provided a brief survey which resulted in a cartoon character being generated. The image was automatically uploaded to Facebook along with a creative quote the user made up. A custom tab was created on the Duty Free Facebook page that showcased all of the entries and allowed voting on the best caption.
Logix was hired to set up Wallaceburg’s CKXS FM radio station with live online streaming. Utilizing Shoutcast media server, we set up the service to allow streaming through all browsers and multiple audio applications. Listen live 24/7 to one of Chatham-Kent’s best radio stations!
Comiskey Insurance Adjusters Inc. contacted Logix to build a secure document manager to simplify communication between their office and the insurance companies they work with. Built with PHP and MySQL, the document manager acts as a secure repository of client documents. The entire application is secured behind an SSL connection. The documents are also encrypted so they can’t simply be linked to from the web.
